The Biosphère is a unique building with a fascinating history. Now a museum dedicated to the environment, the spheric structure started out as a popular pavilion at Expo ’67.

Discover an emblematic place of Montreal

Today, the geodesic dome blends the visionary ecological outlook of its designer, Buckminster Fuller, with today’s environmental concerns. This exhibition looks at the Biosphere’s history, introduces its other ongoing exhibitions and examines the links between art, society and the environment.
