Stroll through the greenhouses at the Botanical Garden and discover an oasis of natural beauty

From succulents to orchids, penjings and banana trees, take a colourful journey around the globe that’s sure to appeal to your natural curiosity.

The greenhouses contain permanent and thematic exhibitions showcasing the Botanical Garden’s collections. In winter, they’re a beautiful oasis where you can forget the snow and cold outside. Each greenhouse has a special theme, illustrating the many ways that plants adapt to their environment.

The 4,000 m2 of greenhouses were opened in 1958. They contain 36,000 plants representing 12,000 species, varieties and cultivars.
