Come and see Transform. Designing the Future of Energy

A captivating exhibition from the Vitra Design Museum exploring the key role that design is playing in the current energy transition.

Energy is the main driving force of our society, yet the use of fossil fuels (oil, coal and gas) is the leading cause of climate change and global warming.

To ensure a sustainable future, we must shift to carbon-free energy sources such as solar, wind and hydro.

While this transition has its challenges, design offers innovative solutions. Transform explores how design can help us rethink our energy use and incorporate renewable energy into our daily lives.

The exhibition showcases some inspiring projects—ranging in scale from the human body to homes, cities and transportation.

Come and learn how design can shape a sustainable energy future and inspire positive changes in our way of life.

An exhibition from the Vitra Design Museum, in main partnership with the Savings Banks Finance Group and supported by the IKEA Stiftung, presented at the Biosphère until autumn 2026.
