This Halloween, magical forces have taken over the Jardin Botanique. Come join Kalbacius the sorcerer and his sidekick Pétiole on new adventures! Amazing seeds, bizarre gourds, and enchanted vegetation are sure to amaze the entire family! Main Exhibition Greenhouse: Kalbacius’ haven This Halloween season, the Main Exhibition Greenhouse plays host to Kalbacius, our favourite sorcerer whose experiments have spiralled out of control! The enchanted greenhouse appears larger than life, and in it you’ll find traces of sorcery, transformed gourds, and an astonishing seed library! It’s sure to send shivers down your spine! Activities Kalbacius and Pétiole the sorcerers Join them in the Main Exhibition Greenhouse to learn about the art of sorcery! 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays 10 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. on weekends The magic of seeds Kalbacius’ experiments with seeds have gone awry! Come lend him a hand and use all your senses to figure out what the seeds need and uncover the ultimate fate of the plants! 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily The Chlorophyll Room: a nursery for monsters! Kalbacius needs your creativity! He needs to re-populate his world with baby plant monsters that will become his future allies. During this workshop, you’ll get to dream up and make plant-inspired creatures. We’ll provide leaves, branches, seeds, and pine needles so you can create rare beasts that are ready join the other realm! 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily Auditorium show: Même pas peur! Auditorium Henry-Teuscher | ages 4 to 8 | 30 min Blandine, a small and adorable pattypan squash, yearns to be as scary as her illustrious gourd ancestors. To get there, she’ll need to face her own fears by embarking on a journey filled with humour and bizarre encounters! Join her on her quest for THE ultimate secret to being scary! The show is included in the price of the admission ticket to the Jardin Botanique, but reservations are recommended to guarantee a spot. 11:45 a.m. from Monday to Friday 11:45 a.m. and 13:30 p.m. weekends and on public holidays An outdoor labyrinth Kalbacius’ enchanted labyrinth houses the most incredible and out-of-control creatures! Are you brave enough to discover where they are hiding? Keep your eyes peeled as you head off to look for them but beware of optical illusions!
