What trick does the seagull use to build its nest on the cliff face? How is the shape of the eggs adapted to prevent them from falling? Why are some birds colorful and others not? What do they do during the winter?

Discover the full diversity of bird species in the Biodôme’s various ecosystems and the ways they occupy different habitats to nest, seek shelter, rest, and feed.

Keep your eyes peeled. This “traveling” activity can take place just as easily in the Laurentian Maple Forest, the Gulf of St. Lawrence, or the Tropical Rain Forest. Touch feathers of different colors, observe taxidermied birds up close, and participate in fun activities to discover the various adaptations of feathered animals.
