This fall, puppets bring to life these ingenious insects and their many tactics for outsmarting predators. Through this lively performance, watch how they espace the appetite of a hungry crow and be amazed by their creativity. Follow their survival stories and immerse yourself in a secret and surprising world that unfolds so close to us.

A Performance That Reveals the Inventiveness of Caterpillars

Attend one of our Capsulettes, a short puppet performance that unveils a hidden side of the lives of insects and arthropods in the Grand Vivarium. Children laugh and ask questions, while adults rediscover these creatures from a fresh perspective. As the show unfolds, you'll see how caterpillars protect themselves.

You'll learn how they camouflage, puff up their bodies, or flash bright colors to scare away predators.

You'll leave with a renewed appreciation for these little-known yet essential creatures of nature. This fun and educational experience is for everyone. '
