A new exhibition to explore at your own pace!

Located on the lower level of the Biodôme, A Close-knit Nature explains the vital role keystone species play in the delicate balance of their ecosystems.

Explore a taxidermy collection of nearly 1,000 specimens, through captivating themes, such as scent, visual and auditory signals, birds of prey, and defence strategies. Can you spot the knobbed hornbill, wandering albatross, slate-pencil urchin and De Brazza’s Monkey? Will you hear the sound of the piranha?

Look for the various symbols and follow lines marked on the floor to see how the different sections interconnect. Your visit will be heightened by sensory experiences, including touch.

Plus, learn about the taxidermy process and the eco-friendly practices that went into the exhibition’s creation.

End your visit in the immersive experience Mégaceta featuring lifelike humpback whales.
