 ganisée par la Chaire de recherche du Canada sur la culture collaborative
  en droit et politiques de la santé ainsi que le Regroupement Droit\, Cha
 ngements et Gouvernance de l’Université de Montréal.
BIOGRAPHIE
Alicia
  Ely Yamin\, JD MPH\, is Program Director of the Health and Human Rights I
 nitiative at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law at
  Georgetown University and Visiting Professor of Law at Georgetown Law Cen
 ter. Yamin is also an Adjunct Lecturer on Law and Global Health at the Har
 vard TH Chan School of Public Health\, a Global Fellow at the Centre for L
 aw and Social Transformation in Norway\, and was selected as the 2015-16 M
 arsha Lilien Gladstein Visiting Professor of Human Rights\, University of 
 Connecticut. Trained in both law and public health at Harvard\, Yamin’s 
 20-year career at the intersection of health and human rights has bridged 
 academia and activism. Yamin is known globally for her pioneering scholars
 hip and advocacy in relation to economic and social rights and rights-base
 d approaches to health\, and in particular maternal and sexual and reprodu
 ctive health. She has contributed to and consulted on the drafting of mult
 iple General Comments by UN treaty bodies\, as well as UN Human Rights Cou
 ncil resolutions.
