DESCRIPTION:Shu-Ping Lee\, postdoc dans le groupe de Maciejko\,Department o
 f Physic\, University of Alberta\n \nAbstract:\nOdd-frequency supercon
 ductivity\, originally proposed by Berezinskii in 1974\, is an exotic phas
 e of matter in which Cooper pairing between electrons is entirely dynamic
 al in nature. The pair potential is an odd function of frequency\, leading
  to a vanishing static superconducting order parameter and exotic types o
 f pairing seemingly inconsistent with Fermi statistics. Motivated by recen
 t experimental progress in the realization of Majorana zero modes in semi
 conducting nanowires\, we show that a spin-polarized nanowire coupled to a
  one-dimensional array of Majorana zero modes generically becomes a unifo
 rm\, pure odd-frequency superconductor. We explicitly calculate the superf
 luid density of this superconductor and show that it exhibits a paramagnet
