SUMMARY:Séminaire de l'étudiante Natasha Shoghi (Groupe Martel)
DESCRIPTION:Titre : pH Responsive-Raman Nanoprobe made of Carbon Nanotubes.
chnologies have severe limitations if they are to be used in conjunction w
ith developing nanotechnologies for biological applications. Current limit
ations include the need for a reference electrode necessary in pH determin
ation\, the cumbersome size which makes it biologically unfeasible as well
as the necessarily invasive nature of such devices. Designing a nanoprobe
to measure the pH as well as making use of a sensitive and non-destructiv
e Raman spectroscopy to get the pH information for biological samples is v
ery important to clinical diagnostics and drug delivery. Herein\, we inves
tigated the carbon nanotubes Raman nanoprobe in circuit-free conditions an
d show that the carbon nanotube can respond to the ionic and proton activi
 ty.
\nInformation supplémentaireAnnonce PDF du séminaire
