SUMMARY:Conférence du Professeur Timothy Kelly (Saskatchewan)
DESCRIPTION:Titre : Perovskite Solar Cells: From Device Fabrication to Devi
 ce Degradation.Endroit : Pavillon Roger-Gaudry\, salle G-815 à 11 hHôte
 : Professeur Garry Hanan
\nLa conférence sera prononcée (en anglais) par
le professeur Timothy Kelly\, du Département de chimie de l'University o
 f Saskatchewan.
\nRésumé : Solar cells based on the perovskite-structure
d light absorber CH3NH3PbI3 have recently emerged at the forefront of solu
tion-processable photovoltaic devices\, with power conversion efficiencies
as high as 20.1% having now been certified. In this presentation\, we wil
l discuss our research in the area of perovskite solar cells. Our early wo
rk demonstrated that room temperature solution-processing techniques can b
e used to prepare devices on flexible substrates while retaining excellent
power conversion efficiencies. Since then\, we have examined issues relat
ed to charge carrier diffusion\, interfacial contacts\, and device flexibi
lity\, with our most recent efforts focusing on probing device failure mec
hanisms using in situ synchrotron-based techniques.
\nInformation supplém
