DESCRIPTION:Christopher Yip (Institute of Biomaterials and Biomedical Engin
 eering\, University of Toronto) est l’invité du professeur Suzanne Gias
 son\, dans le cadre des séminaires de l’axe « Formulation et analyse 
 du médicament » de la Faculté de pharmacie.  Ci-dessous\, une courte 
 biographie du conférencier :Professor Yip is the Director of the Institut
 e of Biomaterials and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toronto.
  He is appointed as a Full Professor in both the Departments of Chemical E
 ngineering and Applied Chemistry\, IBBME\, Biochemistry and the Donnelly C
 entre for Cellular and Bimolecular Research. His research focus is in the 
 area of single molecule biophysics with a particular emphasis on the devel
 opment and application of novel single molecule imaging platforms for stud
 ying cellular and molecular dynamics. He has served on both NSERC and CIHR
  grant panels and is currently Vice Chair of the CIHR Institute of Genetic
 s' Institute Advisory Board. He is a Fellow of the American Association fo
 r the Advancement of Science\, the Engineering Institute of Canada and hel
 d a Tier II Canada Research Chair from 2000-2010. He is on the Editorial B
 oard of Biophysical Journal\, Biophysica Biochemica Acta-Biomembranes\, an
