SUMMARY:Instrumental Variable in a Survival Context
DESCRIPTION:  Eric Tchetgen Tchetgen (Dép. de biostatistiques & Dép. d
I am an associate
professor with joint appointment in the departments of Epidemiology and Bi
ostatistics at the Harvard School of Public Health. My primary area of int
erest is in semi-parametric efficiency theory with application to causal i
nference\, missing data problems\, statistical genetics and mixed model th
eory. In general\, I work on the development of statistical and epidemiolo
gic methods that make efficient use of the information in data collected b
y scientific investigators\, while avoiding unnecessary assumptions about
the underlying data generating mechanism. Recently\, my research with othe
r collaborators has contributed new robust and efficient methods for the e
stimation of gene-environment statistical interactions in their effects on
  causing disease. Bienvenue à tous!Détails
