SUMMARY:Conférence CRMAA avec le professeur Klaus Meerholz (Cologne)
DESCRIPTION:Titre : Crosslinkable semiconductors for use in solution-proces
Organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) based on electroluminescent conjugat
ed polymers are considered a promising alternative for display and lightin
g applications\, mainly due to their better compatibility with low-cost pr
oduction techniques and large substrates. A challenge is multiple-layer de
position to improve the efficiency of the devices and\, as a result\, thei
r lifetime. We have in the past developed photochemically crosslinkable se
miconductors for fabrication of complex multilayer OLED and lithographic R
GB-pixelation down to the micron scale. Grey- scale lithographic capabilit
y has been demonstrated\, allowing the fabrication of multiple cavities wi
th different lengths in a single processing step and thus permits monolith
ic integration of multiple OLEDs with different emission wavelengths on a
single substrate. By use of nanoporous hole-injection layers improved outc
oupling has been demonstrated. Recently\, we demonstrated a surface-initia
ted crosslinking process with high potentials in printing and 3D- coatings
. After curing the materials feature excellent thermal robustness\, allowi
ng to process on top even elevated temperatures (e.g. up to 200C).Informat
