SUMMARY:Conférence du Professeur William Skene (UdeM)
DESCRIPTION:Titre : Tuneable Electrochromes – Towards Functional Material
 s Capable of Property Modification.Endroit : Pavillon J.-A.-Bombardier\, s
pable of color switching between different states are currently the subjec
t of considerable interest. This is in part owing to the electrochrome’s
properties that are well suited for low technological applications such a
 s pricing display signs\, curtainless windows\, switchable textiles\, prin
ted packaging\, and greeting cards. While significant advances have been d
one in terms of electrochrome preparation in recent years\, processability
and color tuning of these electroactive materials remain two parameters o
f critical importance. The effect of structural modification on color tuni
ng\, property modification\, and processing will be illustrated.  Materia
ls capable of post-preparation modification for property tailoring will al
 so be presented.Information supplémentaire
