Conférence de Gil Holder (Université McGill)
Mass fluctuations in the late universe gravitationally distort the microwave background radiation from the early universe. These distortions can be measured, providing maps of the matter fluctuations, dominated by dark matter. With these maps, we can probe the connection between galaxies and dark matter and measure the growth of structure. I will present recent measurements using the South Pole Telescope.
Cette conférence s'adresse à tous, y compris les professeurs, les chercheurs et les étudiants des trois cycles.
