SUMMARY:Underlying event and angular correlations studies in the non-pertur
bative regime at ATLAS - Camille Bélanger-Champagne
DESCRIPTION:Camille Bélanger-Champagne\, Université McGillRésumé/abstra
ct:Studies of minimum bias events at colliders and studies of the underlyi
ng event probe the behaviour of QCD in the non-perturbative regime.  The
phenomenology of events in this regime is described by empirical models th
at take many parameters that need to be tuned to the observed data.  The
tuning process will be discussed in the context of the new energy regime a
ccessible at the LHC.  An overview of recent measurements from ATLAS in t
he soft regime will be given\, with focus on studies of angular correlatio
ns between charged particle tracks.Cette conférence est présentée par l
e Groupe de Physique des Particules du Département de physique de l'Univ
 ersité de Montréal.
