SUMMARY:The Top Quark as a Window to New Physics at ATLAS - Tobias Golling

 act:The LHC is a top factory. Many million top quarks have been produced a
 lready. Experimental techniques are well established to isolate and identi
 fy top quarks. These are ideal conditions to search for new phenomena with
  top quarks. Top quark final states are some of the most probable places f
 or new physics to show up and I will show the state of the art of the corr
 esponding searches at ATLAS. In particular\, I will discuss searches for s
 upersymmetric and other top partners and searches for top quark resonances
 . So-called 'boosted' reconstruction techniques will be presented which ar
 e important in the regime probed. Cette conférence est présentée par l
