 María Emma Wills-Obregón of the Historical Memory Commission and the Uni
 versidad de los Andes (Political Science) is presenting on the work of the
  Commission in Montreal\, Toronto\, and Vancouver. A public presentation f
 ocused on the war\, women and resistance in the Colombian Caribbean coast\
 , it was developed between 2009-2010 by the Colombian Historical Memory Co
 mmission. Dr. Wills will discuss the study’s conceptual framework for do
 cumenting violence and resistance for the purpose of historical clarificat
 ion and truth seeking in a Latin American context and will present two emb
 lematic cases of massacres and sexual violence in the region (Magdalena an
