DESCRIPTION:More than 30 years ago Richard Feynman suggested the possibilit
 y of using quantum computers to simulate quantum physics. Now the technolo
 gies necessary to realize this vision are finally emerging. Particle physi
 cists are already trying to apply quantum machine learning to the detectio
 n of neutrinos\, and to simulate the properties of black holes and wormhol
 es. Quantum technologies have applications beyond computing: at Fermilab w
 e are pursuing new fundamental physics experiments that exploit quantum en
 tanglement to achieve sensitivities otherwise unthinkable.\n \nLa conf
