 nBiographie :Ann Chahroudi\, MD\, PhD\, is an Assistant Professor in the D
 ivision of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the Emory University School of
  Medicine\, Affiliate Scientist in the Division of Microbiology and Immuno
 logy at the Yerkes National Primate Research Center\, and Director of the 
 Emory + Children’s Center for Childhood Infections & Vaccines. She is al
 so Associate Director for Clinical Affairs for the Emory MD/PhD Program an
 d Associate Medical Director of the Family and Youth Clinic of the Grady I
 nfectious Diseases Program. Dr. Chahroudi received her MD and PhD from Emo
 ry University School of Medicine and completed her general pediatrics resi
 dency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.  She returned to Emor
 y for subspecialty fellowship training in Pediatric Infectious Diseases. D
 r. Chahroudi’s research focuses primarily on HIV pathogenesis and cure a
 s well as Zika virus infection of infants\, with emphasis on translational
  studies in nonhuman primates. Her laboratory is funded by the National In
 stitutes of Health (NIH) and the American Foundation for AIDS Research (am
 fAR) and she is a Co-Investigator in the Emory Consortium for Innovative A
 IDS Research in Nonhuman Primates (CIAR-NHP) and the Martin Delaney Collab
 oratory of AIDS Researchers for Eradication (CARE). Dr. Chahroudi is an el
 ected member of the Society for Pediatric Research and serves on the Resea
 rch Affairs Committee of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society. She is
  an Investigator for the AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG) HIV Reservoirs 
 and Viral Eradication Transformative Science Group and is Co-Chair of the 
 International Maternal Pediatric Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials (IMPAACT)
  Network Protocol 2015.
