 \nRésuméEven though there are various different approaches to quantum g
 ravity\, there are some universal predictions of almost all approaches to 
 quantum gravity. One such prediction is the existence of an extended struc
 ture in the background geometry of  spacetime. Such a structure would def
 orm all quantum systems and have low energy consequences. I will discuss s
 uch deformations of some interesting quantum systems.
