DESCRIPTION:William Skene\, département de chimie\, Université de Montré
 alFunctional organic materials capable of color switching between differen
 t states are currently the subject of considerable interest. The is in par
 t owing to the electrochrome’s properties that are well suited for low t
 echnological applications such as pricing display signs\, curtainless wind
 ows\, switchable textiles\, printed packaging\, and greeting cards. While 
 significant advances have been done in terms of electrochrome preparation 
 in recent years\, processability and color tuning of these electroactive m
 aterials remain two parameters of critical importance. The effect of struc
 tural modification on color tuning\, property modification\, and processin
 g will be illustrated.  Materials capable of post-preparation modificatio
