 AND MILLER'S ALTER BAHNHOF VIDEO WALK: INTERACTIVITY\, PERCEPTION AND THE 
 (DE)CONSTRUCTION OF MEMORYDesigned for dOCUMENTA(13) and located in the Al
 ter Bahnhof train station\, Alter Bahnhof Video Walk (2012) is the latest 
 version of Janet Cardiff and George B. Miller's series of 'walks'. By foll
 owing an audiovisual guide recorded onto an iPod\, the visitor's perceptio
 ns and memory of the place become augmented - fusing human with machinic v
 ision\, collective with connected history. Although the interactive nature
  of the piece aims at inclusiveness\, this talk will demonstrate how the l
 ayering of virtual data over physical space contributes to a 'splitting' o
 f the user's vision\, which redefines our understanding of participation a
 nd spectatorship at a phenomenological\, and even a neurological level.•

  en scène le Musée National de Beyrouth à travers les traces des guerre
 s du Liban (1975-1991) : voici le projet de l'artiste Lamia Joreige dans l
 'installation Under Writing Beirut - Mathaf. À partir d'une lecture de l'
 oeuvre de Joreige selon le principe de deixis\, qui désigne au théâtre 
 comme au musée l'action de montrer au public (Bergeron\, Ferey 2013)\, ce
 tte conférence illustrera comment le conflit agit sur l'institution musé
 ale\, transformant l'acte de monstration en geste d'occultation. En outre\
 , nous émettrons de nouvelles hypothèses concernant l'aboutissement des

 Hypothèses est une série de conférences mensuelles\, organisée par et
  pour les étudiants des cycles supérieurs en histoire de l’art des qua
 tre universités montréalaises. La formule\, développée depuis 2011 à 
 l’Université de Montréal\, vise à stimuler la relève en histoire de 
 l’art à Montréal\, diffuser les recherches émergentes dans la discipl
 ine\, tout en encourageant les interactions entre le milieu académique et
  tous les publics. Les rencontres ont lieu un mercredi par mois\, de septe
 mbre 2014 à avril 2015\, à partir de 16h\, au Salon du Musée des beaux-
 arts (pavillon Jean-Noël Desmarais\, niveau 2). Bienvenue à tous !Hypoth
 eses is an Art History symposium series\, organized by and for students (
 master’s and doctoral) from Montreal universities. Its goal is to promot
 e and disseminate emerging research in the discipline. The program\, first
  developed at the University of Montreal in 2011\, encourages discussion a
 nd debate between young researchers across institutional boundaries\, acts
  as a platform for discussion and reflection\, and encourages cross-fertil
 ization of ideas between academia\, the museum community\, and the public 
 at large. Symposia are held monthly on Wednesdays\, from September\, 2014\
 , to April\, 2015\, in the Lounge of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (Je
