SUMMARY:Séminaire de l'étudiante Fatemeh Mohammadpour (Groupe Lubell)
DESCRIPTION:Titre : Synthesis and Evaluation of Azapeptide Modulators of th
e Prostaglandin F2α Receptor in Pursuit of Inhibitors of Preterm Labour.E
Chem.
 2010\, 285\, 25624-25636) and aza-amino acyl proline analogues (Bourguet\,
  et al. J. Med. Chem. 2011\, 54\, 6085–6097) can reduce prostaglandin-F2
α-induced myometrial contractions and modulate prostaglandin F2α-induced
G-protein signaling pathways. My presentation will discuss advances in un
derstanding the relationship between structure and activity of aza-amino a
cyl proline modulators. The biological activity of these modulators is con
tingent on their aaa-residue side chain. Diversity-oriented synthesis meth
ods to introduce different side chains onto the aza-amino acyl proline mod
ulators have been pursued featuring alkylation of aza-glycinyl- proline an
alogs\, as well as copper-catalyzed reactions on aza-propargylglycinyl res
idues. Finally\, photo-reactive modulators have been pursued to tag the FP
receptor and identify the allosteric binding site.Information supplément
