 a enseigne au programme de South Asian Studies de l’Université Jawaharl
 al Nehru en Inde. Elle a été directrice de recherche à l’Indian Counc
 il for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER) de New Delhi 
 pendant cinq ans et elle a auparavant enseigné l’économie à l’Hindu
  College de l’Université de Delhi. Mme Batra a également été consult
 ante pour la Banque mondiale\, à New Delhi et a été professeure invité
 e à l’Indian Institute of Management\, Ahmedabad. Elle a à son actif p
 lusieurs publications nationales et internationales dans des revues à com
 ité de lecture et d'autres périodiques. Elle a publié deux livres\, In
 dia and the Asian Corridor et Preferential Trading Agreements in Asia: tow

 s\, Hindu College\, University of Delhi. Dr. Batra has also worked as Cons
 ultant for the World Bank\, New Delhi and as Visiting Professor\, Indian I
 nstitute of Management\, Ahmedabad. She has to her credit several national
  and international publications in refereed and other journals including t
 wo Books namely India and the Asian Corridor and Preferential Trading Agre
