 tic Methodologies.La conférence sera prononcée par Nicholas Leadbeater\,
  professeur au Département de chimie de l'University of Connecticut. Elle
  sera donnée en anglais.Résumé : This seminar will discuss the use of m
 icrowave heating and continuous-flow processing as tools for synthetic org
 anic\, organometallic and inorganic chemistry. There will be an emphasis o
 n metal-catalyzed coupling reactions as well as the incorporation of fluor
 ine in to organic molecules. Reactions on scales from milligrams to kilogr
 ams will be discussed. Also discussed will be the use of in-situ spectrosc
 opy as a tool for reaction monitoring and for probing reaction mechanisms.
