Espace pour la vie is offering, in cooperation with external organizations, four weekends of free activities at the Jardin botanique’s Frédéric Back Tree Pavilion, an inviting, dynamic and lively space for meetings and exchanges.
In April, reconnect with nature and take the opportunity to explore, create or exchange with others, while gearing up to take concrete action towards the socio-ecological transition and the protection of biodiversity.
Solon, a Montréal-based non-profit organization dedicated to empowering citizens, is behind two Possibility Spaces in Montréal: one in Ahuntsic, the other in La Petite-Patrie. These third places dedicated to exchange, learning and citizen involvement aim to develop neighbourhoods that are more inclusive and eco-fiendly. Citizens are encouraged to propose activities and meetings, and to organize and help each other to make the world a better place. All under self-management!
Since 1996, the Tree Pavilion at Frédéric-Back has been raising public awareness of the role of trees in living ecosystems and in our lives. On this special day, it’s the social ecosystem that will be highlighted, as it’s through this ecosystem that we can ensure the well-being of our communities and the living beings that surround us.
