À travers des tableaux plastiques et vivants mê
 lant vidéo\, musique\, texte et sculptures\, L’Exhumée creuse la dyn
 amique complexe entre résilience et fragilité. L’artiste plasticienne
  Julie Robinson plonge dans son expérience personnelle pour en exhumer 
 un drame enseveli depuis vingt ans – la rupture d’anévrisme survenue 
 à ses dix-huit ans. En émerge un corps lumineux de paradoxes\, à la foi
 s socialement désarticulé et radicalement exalté par sa contrainte. Dip
 lômée en photographie\, Robinsondéveloppe une pratique autodidacte de 
 sculpture et de peinture. Elle est cofondatrice et coorganisatrice de la b
 iennale XL et de la communauté artistique multidisciplinaire Cercle Créa
 tiC. Elle vit et travaille à Montréal.

Through a 
 series of vibrant works mixing video\, music\, text and sculpture\, L’E
 xhuméedelves into the complex dynamic between resilience and fragility. A
 rtist Julie Robinsonplumbs her personal experience to unearth a tragedy b
 uried for twenty years – a ruptured aneurysm when she was eighteen. What
  emerges is a body radiant with paradoxes\, at once socially dislocated an
 d radically exalted by its constraint. Trained in photography\, Robinson
  also has a self-taught practice in sculpture and painting. She is the co
 founder and co-organizer of the XL biennale\, and of the multidisciplinary
  artistic community Cercle CréatiC. She lives and works in Montreal.
