Résumé : The study of organizational
  tensions\, contradictions\, dialectics\, and paradoxes is on the rise in 
 the organizational sciences. My talk sets forth an integrative methodology
  for studying these oppositional phenomena by aligning grounded theory tec
 hniques with the little “d” and big “D” orientations of organizati
 onal discourse analysis. Using an extended example\, I illustrate the step
 s to be followed for this new methodology\, and conclude with a discussion
  of the implications for the study of materiality.
