DESCRIPTION:« COMME UN MURMURE (SUITE) » Pour l’inauguration de son nou
 vel espace au Belgo\, la Galerie Pangée présente l’exposition Comme un
  murmure (suite) qui comprend treize photographies en couleur de grand for
 mat\, réalisées depuis 2005 dans une région de forêts\, au pied du Mon
 t-Mégantic\, en Estrie. Comme un murmure (suite) est présentée en paral
 lèle avec l’exposition éponyme Comme un murmure\, organisée par Le Mo
 is de la Photo à Montréal au nouveau complexe de l’Arsenal. Les deux e
 xpositions complémentaires nous offrent une vision intimiste du territoir
 e\, en accord avec la démarche introspective de Normand Rajotte. Axée su
 r la conscience de soi et le rapport à la nature\, ses œuvres renouvelle
 nt l’approche traditionnelle du paysage. Depuis 1997\, sa recherche s’
 est concentrée sur un territoire restreint\, qu’il revisite et explore 
 de manière continue. Les treize photographies exposées font partie d’u
 n corpus inédit qui compte une quarantaine d’œuvres. Contrairement aux
  images traditionnelles qui dévoilent de vastes étendues fermées par un
  horizon lointain\, l’objectif de Normand Rajotte se tourne vers le sol 
 pour en scruter la surface et y repérer les traces laissées par le temps
 \, les éléments et la vie animale. Contempler ces photographies nous eng
 age à suivre les méandres du parcours d’un artiste méditatif\, à pé
 nétrer la substance même du paysage\, à écouter le murmure de la forê
 t et à s’initier à son étrangeté.Comme un murmure (suite) is the ina
 ugural exhibition of Galerie Pangée’s new location in the Belgo. The ex
 hibition includes thirteen large-scale colour photographs created since 20
 04 in a forested region at the foot of the Mont Mégantic located in Quebe
 c’s Eastern Townships. Comme un murmure (suite) is held in parallel to C
 omme un murmure\, presented by Montreal’s Le Mois de la Photo at the Ars
 enal in Griffintown. The two exhibitions offer us an intimate portrait of 
 the region from the introspective point of view of Normand Rajotte. Rooted
  in the consciousness of oneself and one’s relationship with nature\, th
 ese works renew the traditional approach to the landscape. Since 1997\, No
 rmand Rajotte has continuously revisited and explored the area around this
  mountainous region in Quebec. Comme un murmure (suite) features thirteen 
 photographs that are part of a larger body of work of over forty photograp
 hs. In contrast to images that celebrate vast expanses of landscape and ho
 rizons\, Normand Rajotte provides a microscopic perspective of the earth\,
  examining the surface and tracing the passing of time\, the elements\, an
