 orlds’’ porte précisément notre attention sur le parc industriel cô
 tier du New Jersey et le cimetière de bateaux de Rossville\, à Staten Is
 land. Tout en préservant la nature fondamentale des lieux\, Hayeur procè
 de à des manipulations virtuelles de l’image\, faisant de ses photograp
 hies un travestissement partiel de la réalité. Ce processus créatif\, s
 e balançant entre la documentation et la fiction\, fait écho aux altéra
 tions industrielles qui façonnent le paysage contemporain. Une curieuse p
 oésie se développe alors que l’artiste retravaille ces monuments de la
  modernité comme autant de ruines.In her new series “Underworlds”\, I
 sabelle Hayeur makes use of digital technology to reveal the existing tens
 ions between aquatic ecosystems and the environments above. This new body 
 of work focuses on the Chemical Coast of New Jersey and the Rossville Boat
  Graveyard of Staten Island. While respecting the fundamental nature of ea
 ch place\, Hayeur digitally manipulates the images. Her process\, which is
  somewhere between documentation and fiction\, echoes the distortions that
