DESCRIPTION:« DO YOU MISS ME? » Dans cette série\, des représentations 
 d’animaux et de paysages servent à explorer les concepts de vie sauvage
 \, de domestication\, d’innocence\, de danger\, de destruction et d’ar
 tificiel. L’artiste montréalaise cherche à construire un monde fantasq
 ue grâce à des personnages et des lieux imaginés\, mais aussi issus de 
 la nature. Les sujets\, traités de manière figurative en premier plan\, 
 sont brillamment imbriqués dans des formes abstraites aux couleurs intens
 es\, qui constituent un arrière-plan presque toxique pour l’œil.In thi
 s exhibition\, recurring images of animals and landscapes are used through
 out to explore and consider ideas of domesticity\, tameness\, innocence\, 
 danger\, destruction\, wilderness\, and artificiality. This recent body of
  work seeks to build a fantasy world out of characters and settings that e
 merge not only from Daehler’s imagination\, but from nature as well. The
  figurative subject matter in the foreground is skillfully intertwined wit
