 ampes a été réalisée sur la base de l’interprétation d’un seul mo
 t : présence. L’unité de l’ensemble des œuvres repose donc sur la r
 eprésentation d’un concept. En installant les œuvres côte à côte\, 
 le commissaire a choisi de promouvoir les différentes techniques de gravu
 re comme l’aquatinte\, la collagraphie\, l’eau-forte\, la lithographie
 \, l’impression en relief\, la sérigraphie et la gravure sur bois. D’
 un point de vue muséographique\, tout est mis en œuvre pour susciter une
  réflexion chez le public et lui faire réaliser comment signes et sens s
 ’imbriquent les uns dans les autres. Bref\, ce collectif souhaite montre
 r comment différents médiums convergent vers un même thème\, et commen
 t l’artiste\, de par la perspective de son travail\, influence la repré
 sentation du monde de celui ou de celle qui la regarde.The variety of prin
 ts chosen for this exhibition is based upon the interpretation of one simp
 le word “presence”. Although the chosen prints were based on one unify
 ing word\, this exhibition invites viewers to explore how the central them
 e was expressed by each artist and from their varying perspectives. In dis
 playing a large array of fairly distinct prints alongside each other\, the
  curator’s goal is to promote and better inform viewers of the various p
 rintmaking techniques such as aquatint\, collagraphy\, etching\, lithograp
 hy\, relief printing\, screenprint and woodcut. The curator’s hope that 
 conversations will transpire and incite viewers to consider how semantics 
 and meaning are entwined\, how differing mediums convey subject matter\, a
 nd how an artist’s perspective has the ability to influence a viewer’s
