This preview offers a first glimpse into David Romero’s photo installation Altarpiece Variation No. 2 (Love Live) for the Jean Berger Project at the FOFA Gallery, a photographic installation that draws upon one vision of Montreal’s history and geographical significance as seen through the eyes of a small-city-boy: the Young Artist, who believes in magic and true love. Shot in eleven frames, each tableau represents a Saint in Montreal’s big-city mise-en-scene -- stories and areas that relate to the first eleven years he spent living in Montreal.
