Exposition: 'F...ck the Ewoks!'

Pour célébrer le 30ème anniversaire de la sortie du film ' Le retour du Jedï ' la galerie d'art Le Repaire des 100 talents a organisé une exposition regroupant les oeuvres de 16 artistes inspirés par la saga de La Guerre des Étoiles.
Vous retrouverez les oeuvres de:
Alexandra Bastien, Annie Claudine, Laura Csajagi, Alice Descoux, Patrick Gaudette, Daniel Grenier, Kiara, Jean-François Labelle, Emmanuel Laflamme, Adeline Lamarre, Valery Latulippe, David Merk, Melsa Montagne, Dany Petrin, Luc Poudrier, Eric Santerre.

Le grand public est donc invité à venir découvrir ces sculptures, collages, dessins et peintures de grande qualité qui ne manqueront pas de leur rappeler des souvenirs de cette formidable épopée intergalactique. La galerie est située au 5867 St-Hubert (à 5 minute à pieds de la station de métro Rosemont).

L'exposition débute le mercredi 22 mai et durera jusqu'au 23 juin. Le vernissage aura lieu le samedi 25 mai de 16h30 jusqu'à 21h00.

Note d'intérêt: Les visiteurs seront invités, pour quelques dollars, à jouer à un jeu cathartique où ils pourront voter pour leur personnage le plus détestable de la saga en lançant des dards sur sa photo. Ils auront le choix entre Darth Vader, Jar Jar Binks ou Wicket le Ewok.

Collective Art exhibition 'F...ck the Ewoks!'

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release date of the movie 'Return of the Jedi', the art gallery Le Repaire des 100 talent has organised an exhibition presenting the creations of 16 different artists inspired by the Star Wars Saga.

You will be able to see the artwork of:
Alexandra Bastien, Annie Claudine, Laura Csajagi, Alice Descoux, Patrick Gaudette, Daniel Grenier, Kiara, Jean-François Labelle, Emmanuel Laflamme, Adeline Lamarre, Valery Latulippe, David Merk, Melsa Montagne, Dany Petrin, Luc Poudrier, Eric Santerre.

The general public is invited to come discover those sculptures, paintings, drawings and collages of really great quality that will surely sparks good memories of this fantastic intergalactic saga. The gallery is situated at 5867 St-Hubert (just 5 minutes walking distance from the subway station Rosemont).

The exhibition will start wednesday may 22nd and will last till june 23rd. The official show opening will be saturday may the 25th from 4h30 PM till 9h PM.

It is worth knowing: Visitors will be invited to play, for a few dollars, a cathartic game where they will be able to vote for their most detestable character from the saga by throwing darts at his picture. They will be able to choose between, Darth Vader, Jar Jar Binks and Wicket the Ewok.
